The Association of Kenya Adventists was originally The Kenya Adventist Retreat. The Association and retreat idea was conceived in 2000 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Objectives:
The missions which Kenya Adventist Retreat has been involved in and
seeks to participate in future include:
oBringing together Kenyans and friends in the US to
encourage, share and grow spiritually.
o Participating in church missions and evangelism individually
and in organized groups.
o Uplifting and encouraging each other to serve our Lord 's
Kingdom through choirs, teaching and seminars on Adventist
health message.
o Encouraging each other to keep on with the Journey until the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The first Kenya Adventist Retreat was held at Greater Nashville
Junior Academy (GNJA). Nashville, TN in 2000. Indian Creek Camp: 2001, 2004-2009; 2011.

Our 2010 Retreat was held together with the GC session at Oglethorpe Universiy in Atlanta, Georgia.

2012 Retreat Announcement

In 2012, The Association of Kenya Adventists will be celebrating its 12th anniversary. We look forward to a time of celebration and thanksgiving for the Lord's leading during our 12 years as an organization dedicated to uniting Kenyan Adventist Christians living in the US for fellowship and service. The Lord has blessed us and we will have the joy of celebrating this anniversary at our usual venue, The Indian Creek camp.
